WORKIT is a joint national initiative of the employment service and the Rashi Foundation to promote optimal employment as a response to the changing reality of the labor market, and with the understanding that quality employment is a significant lever for promoting social and economic leadership.
The project works to build local and regional infrastructures, in cooperation with the local authorities in the areas of activity, as a pilot in the southern and northern periphery of Israel. The premise of the work is that employment is indeed a field that requires a spatial-regional vision, but the process requires at the beginning to establish and build a solid local infrastructure, in order to progress and eventually establish a regional, holistic system - greater than the sum of its parts to promote employment.
